Vampire Life Leveling Guide: XP Sources, Ranks & Level Effects

How Vampire Life leveling works: XP-boost codes, feeding and hunting, the sleep AFK grind, witch rank tiers 0–800+, level effects, and the gaps still undocumented.

Quick answer

In Vampire Life, leveling is the route to strength, new abilities, and a better shot at becoming an Original: as you play, you age, get stronger, and unlock new abilities. The documented XP sources are redeemable XP-boost codes, feeding and hunting sessions, and the vampire sleep AFK grind. Per-level XP requirements are not published, and the rank tiers below are documented for witches only.

  • XP-boost codes: the largest documented multiplier is 4X XP for 30 minutes; codes also drop Money and Reset Points.
  • Feeding and hunting are the activities the boosts multiply; the vampire B move (sleep) adds XP slowly while you are AFK.
  • Witch rank tiers run 0–800+, from Novice witch to Scarce witch, with Supreme Witch as the top-of-server bonus title.
  • Level effects: witch ability damage scales with level, and the Cannibal Raised transformation resets your level.

How leveling works in Vampire Life

You start as a Human or a Natural-Born Vampire and build your character over time. Current write-ups differ on the exact starting roster — a hunter-style start that can later be infected and transition also appears in current coverage — so check the character screen in-game to confirm what is on offer right now. Natural-Born Vampires have greater potential from the start, while players born Human can still become a vampire by getting transformed by another player.

Leveling up is described as the route to strength, new abilities, and a better shot at becoming an Original: as you play, you age, get stronger, and unlock new abilities. No level threshold, formula, or probability for the Original conversion is documented — the link is qualitative only.

Documented XP source: redeemable XP-boost codes

Working codes are the most concretely documented XP source. They drop XP boosts, stacks of Money, and Reset Points that speed up the whole vampire grind. The largest documented multiplier is 4X XP for 30 minutes — described as the biggest jump on the board — with a shorter Double XP + Double Money option that also pays for upgrades while leveling. Reset Points let you rebuild a messy starting stat spread instead of living with a bad first build.

Per a Pro Game Guides snapshot updated September 24, 2026, five codes were active, including THANKS700L, which rewarded 10K Money plus 15 minutes of Double XP and Double Money boosts. Codes are time-sensitive: developers can deactivate them at any time, so confirm what still works in-game.

In-game XP gain: feeding, hunting, and the sleep AFK method

Two in-game XP activities are documented. First, feeding and hunting: a 4X XP burst is described as turning one feeding session into a big rank jump, and the stated advice is to drop it before a long hunt so levels, abilities, and Original odds move in one sitting — meaning feeding and hunting sessions are the XP-generating activity the boosts multiply. Second, the vampire B move (sleep), added in the September dev update, also gains XP as an AFK grind, though the XP goes in a little at a time. Exact XP values or rates for these activities are not documented.

Level milestones: witch rank tiers (0–800+)

Comparison

Comparison
Level rangeWitch title
0–24Novice witch
25–49Adept witch
50–74Gifted witch
75–99Powerful witch
100–399Elder witch
400–799Ancient witch
800+Scarce witch

These thresholds come from a creator recap of the September 19–21, 2026 dev updates (the witch update) and are documented for witches only — no equivalent vampire or human rank ladder has been documented. The highest-level witch on a server additionally receives the Supreme Witch title with bonuses in strength, magic, duration, and proficiency.

Level effect: witch ability damage scales with level

Level demonstrably scales ability power for witches. The Pain affliction ability from the witch update attaches directly to a target, immobilizes it, and continuously drains its life essence — and the higher the witch's level, the greater the damage dealt. The ability consumes mana while channeling and, after a certain time, begins to harm the witch herself, making its use powerful yet risky.

Level loss: the Cannibal Raised transformation resets your level

Level progress can be lost through transformation. A creator walkthrough notes that becoming Cannibal Raised — described as a stronger version of a vampire in Vampire Life — also resets your level, so be careful before committing. For context, the transformation requires starting as a human, being bitten or infected by a Cannibal Raised vampire, and then drinking a human's blood to trigger the change.

What remains undocumented

No per-level XP requirements table, no vampire or human rank ladder, no confirmed level cap, and no Original-conversion threshold or probability are documented as of the September 2026 coverage. Recheck active codes, level requirements, XP values, and unlock thresholds after updates.
